Nichole Taylor ~ Media Maven

Nicci Writes It:

“Oh my gosh Fren, thank you for taking the opportunity to have this conversation with me. I want to congratulate you on taking the plunge that most of us are too afraid to take due to being scared of what the outside world may think. Now what I need you to do is pucker up and share with our lipstick lounge… Do you remember how old you were when you became obsessed and fell in love with becoming a media personality & owning your own radio network? How did all of your gifts fall into the equation?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“Since an early age I have always been fascinated with music, movies and the arts. I can remember watching the news and wanting to be the weather girl or newscaster, interviewing celebrities or going to the drive-in movie and imagining myself as one the characters in the movie. I had a very vivid imagination and would create my own little world. My involvement with podcasting/media and owning my own network, came much later in life. But I did know, however, I was going to be the boss, always!!! LOL!”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren listen, the werds, women and wine crew want to know do you recall the moment YOU decided, ‘okay, I’ve discovered my calling? ‘owning my own radio network and becoming a radio personality is LIFE?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“I’ve always known since a young age I wanted to be involved in tv/radio but as you grow up, the experiences of life will oftentimes make you put those aspirations or dreams on the back-burner. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and worked as an Executive Partner for the CAO of an Investment Banking Company for more than 21 years. In 2019, I was separated from the company. The year prior to me being separated I created and hosted a podcast called “The Nic & Mo Show”, that is when podcasting became my LIFE! It wasn’t until I was separated from my 9-5, that I realized I could make this a business or “be the brand” so to speak. It’s funny though, I don’t consider myself a “radio personality”. I just love a good conversation and that’s what my podcasts have been focused on, good conversation.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren listen, the werds, women and wine crew wants to know about the Nichole Taylor experience … how did you fall in love with all of your gifts and decide to incorporate them into NoiZ Radio?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“I’m a servant by nature and my gifts of help and administration, along with my career have trained me tremendously to put those same business and administrative skills to work while building the network.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren, the werds, women and wine crew wants to know about your brands and podcast, The Drip?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“The Drip Podcast, formerly The Nic & Mo Show is a podcast where we Discuss Real Issues and Perspectives from infidelity to finances, issues within our churches and communities, politics, sexuality and metal illness. You name it…we discuss it. There are no holds barred. I truly believe our families, our homes and country is in the state we are in because we’ve lost respect for each other and the value of each other’s opinions. I wanted the DRIP to be that proverbial couch or living room where people could sit and have mature conversations about life and our worlds, without being shamed or ridiculed for our perspectives or beliefs. Being ok to disagree with someone but also being open enough in understanding the beliefs, lifestyles and views of others.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren, the werds, women and wine crew wants to know do you have a niche clientele? If so, who are they & why?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“Our niche clientele would be those who love to have mature respectful dialogue about life and life experiences. We have a listener who is 16 years old and our more mature listener being 75 years old. It’s a huge span when you look at the age differences, but makes crafting material and conversations for the show challenging and fulfilling. We want The DRIP to be the people’s show, where everybody has a seat at the table to share and have a voice.”

Nicci Writes It:

“What celebrity would you love to interview on The Drip? Why?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“We’ve had a few celebrities on the show but I love talking to people you see every day who are making strides in their life. Whether you’re graduating from High school or college at 50, a single mom raising her children and trying to figure out how they’re ALL going to college, to the single father raising his kids, the teacher or minister suffering from trauma or mental illness or the person who said good-bye to their 9-5 to pursue their dream, even the person battling with their sexuality and conforming to a culture or a world who is unaccepting. To me, those are our every day celebrities, we want to talk to them and celebrate them.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren, you steppdc out on faith and started NoiZ Radio? How did you get started? How did it take off?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“As stated previously I was separated from my job of 22 years and within any large corporation in the face of change, people were up in arms and worried if they were going to have a job the next day. I remember my boss telling me that our entire department was getting separated. I don’t immediately react to information, I have to process it a bit before I respond. But I remember going to my printer, and talking to God, like…”Lord, I am not going to freak about this, because I know you order every step, my entire life is in your hands and it is your responsibility to take care of me. BUT…I would like to know what I’m suppose to do now.” You know, we don’t always understand what God is doing and it freaks you out sometimes! He clearly said to me, “Now go and do what you’ve always wanted!” I did and I’m doing it. And THIS, is definitely a faith walk, let me tell you. We already had The DRIP and since that time added 4 syndicated podcasts to the network. We’ve had our challenges and sure there will be more. We’re continuing to build and look forward to launching our radio station at the close of summer.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren, where do you see all of your brands in 3 years?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“In 3 years, I see us blooming, continuing to build, fully staffed and becoming the next household name for urban influencers, podcasts and radio. Our adult children are into music and fashion and it is my hope to launch our Enterprise by year’s end, also housing their businesses.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren your communication skills. How do you converse with a client who says, ‘I don’t agree with your advice, you’ve got my situation all wrong.’”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“I tell people often I’m hear to listen and offer any advice I can. I am constantly learning the value of listening patiently and listening to understand and not to speak. When talking to people it’s important to listen and ask questions before jumping in with advice or your perspective. We don’t always hit the mark when speaking to people or giving advice. Going into any conversation with an ear to hear what’s being said and sometimes what’s not being conveyed is important. And it’s also important to keep the door open for constant dialogue, so that everyone is on the same page.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren what are 3 items you can’t ever be without?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“3 “items” ? My cellphone, makeup and coffee.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren what do you love the most about the being a media personality & CEO?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“The connections I’ve made with people in and out of the industry and the freedom of creating, shaping and building and empire.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren, Nichole’s skills. How do you perfect your media personality skills?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“I constantly have my ear to radio and podcasts and read a lot and have been in a few master classes for podcasting. Media is constantly changing so learning all you can about the industry and being open to learning more is key. And I’m not afraid to reach out for device form those in the field who’ve accomplished what I’m trying to accomplish.”

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey Fren speaking events. How do you get the word out about your services?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

If you’d like to book me for a speaking engagement at your church, community event.., to have me as guest co-host you can contact us at www.noizradionetwork.org or email us at info.noizradionet@gmail.com

Nicci Writes It:

“Hey fren what’s Nichole’s advice for future media personalities but aren’t confident in their ability?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“Sometimes people just need a pep talk and their own cheerleader section, even if it’s just them! You MUST believe in yourself and believe in your dreams more than your fears. You’re greater than what you think you are and you were created to be more than what you’ve imagined. Sometimes you just have to take the leap and go after it, afraid! Take God with you, listen to his instruction and you’ll never fail.”

Werds Nicci Wrote:

“Hey Fren what’s Nichole’s favorite quote & why it’s your favorite?”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“Our Deepest Fear by Mariam Wiliamson, it says it all! I reminds us never to shrink or be afraid of who God has made us and purposed us to be. We need to walk in that strength and the light, beauty and power of our Father. We were meant to shine…SO SHINE!!!”

Werds Nicci Wrote:

“Fren, how can folks reach you to keep in touch....”

Nichole “Coco” Taylor:

“You can visit us on IG @thedrippodcast19, click our bio link to connected to our platforms. We’re available on iHeart Radio, Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, Spreaker and all podcast delivery platforms.”It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
